Jaguar Xk8 Coupe 2002 02 4.0 V8 Coupe 290 Bhp

Owned by me for 6 years. 149,600 miles and drives great. New MoT with no advisories.

Auto lights and wipers, heated front screen, cruise, hands free kit, rear parking sensors etc. Decent history file, handbooks and V5 present. Regular oil and filter changes. Has been very reliable; has had new knock sensors, rad, hoses, thermostat, cooling tower (metal upgrade), never overheated, N/S lower ball joint (nothing unusual for the XK's), rear pads and tyres - all recently (now on Dunlop Sportmax all round).

Original later steel liner and metal tensioner engine. Auto gearbox oil and filter changed. No fault lights on dash. Good clean interior, some wear on driver's seat bolster (see pic). MoT tester says not a rust bucket underneath like many are, solid front & rear subframe mountings which have apparently never been welded with underside not disguised with underseal. A few age related marks here and there but a very presentably example which turns heads. Central locking remote seems to have lost communication for some reason. I have tried a new battery in the remote, but no joy. The car locks and alarms OK via the key.
